‘8 Mile’ actor Nashawn Breedlove is dead


The late actor Nashawn Breedlove, popular for his role in the movie “8 Mile” alongside Eminem, has passed away at the age of 46. He died in his sleep on Sunday, September 24, at his home in New Jersey. The cause of his death is still unknown, as confirmed by his loved ones to TMZ.

Nashawn is best known for portraying the character Lotto in the 2002 film, which is loosely based on Eminem’s life. One of his most memorable scenes is where his character engages in a rap battle with Eminem’s B-Rabbit.

Before rising to fame with “8 Mile,” Nashawn had been rapping under the stage name OX. He even had a feature on the soundtrack for the 2001 movie “The Wash” alongside Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
