Benjamin Millepied, the spouse of actress Natalie Portman, is striving to salvage their marriage amid allegations of infidelity with a younger woman

Allegedly, the marriage of actress Natalie Portman and her husband, Benjamin Millepied, is in turmoil following reports of his involvement in an affair with a much younger woman.

The French outlet Voici initially revealed the affair, which purportedly involved a 25-year-old woman, as reported by Page Six.

However, according to People, an inside source claimed that the alleged affair was of a ‘short-lived’ nature and has now come to an end.

They labeled it as an ‘enormous mistake,’ acknowledging that Millepied, aged 45, was cognizant of the gravity of his alleged indiscretion and was making efforts to mend the rift with Portman.

The 41-year-old Academy Award-winning actress and her husband, a dancer and choreographer, have been married since 2012.

A source informed Page Six that the couple had separated last year before reconciling, although it seems unrelated to his purported involvement with climate activist Camille Étienne, aged 25.

“Portman and Millepied are presently endeavoring to reconcile,” affirmed Page Six’s source.

“Ben is exerting all efforts to seek Natalie’s forgiveness. He deeply cares for her and their family,” they stated.

The source added that Portman is extremely discreet concerning her marital affairs.

“Her primary concern at this moment is safeguarding the children,” the source included.

The couple, who became engaged in 2010, exchanged vows in 2012 in Big Sur, California. They subsequently welcomed a son, Aleph, aged 12, and a daughter, Amalia, aged six.
