Marcus Deon Vick, born on March 20, 1984, is a former professional football player known for briefly appearing in one game for the Miami Dolphins in 2006. He is the younger brother of New York Jets quarterback Michael Vick. Both brothers started playing high school football in Newport News Public Schools. Marcus accepted a football scholarship to attend Virginia Tech and played as a quarterback for the team. However, he faced suspension for the entire 2004 season due to numerous criminal convictions. Despite a conditional reinstatement, he was involved in several highly publicized incidents during the 2005 season, including displaying his middle finger to the crowd and stomping on the leg of Louisville’s Elvis Dumervil, in addition to facing multiple traffic arrests.After being dismissed from the Virginia Tech football program, he declared himself eligible for the NFL spring draft in 2006 but was not selected. Although he was later signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent, he was released from the team on May 1, 2007.
