EPL: Ange Postecoglou Makes History as Tottenham Coach

Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has etched his name in the annals of Premier League history by being named Manager of the Month for September.

Postecoglou is the first manager to receive this accolade in his first two months working in the competition since taking charge of Tottenham during the summer.

The Australian, who left Scottish champions Celtic to assume the role at Spurs, has enjoyed a remarkable beginning, guiding his team to the top of the table.

Despite losing their prolific goal-scorer Harry Kane to Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, a departure that many believed would hinder Postecoglou’s side, Tottenham remains unbeaten this season in the Premier League.

With six wins and two draws, they have secured impressive victories over Manchester United and Liverpool, placing them ahead of Premier League champions Manchester City and Arsenal.

The absence of Kane has brought out the best in players like Son Heung-min and summer signing James Maddison.

It is worth noting that Son and Maddison have also recently won the Premier League Player of the Month awards for September and August, respectively.
