 Katy Perry, the American singer, has disclosed her five weeks of sobriety and the no-alcohol pact she made with her fiancé, Orlando Bloom.

The judge of “American Idol” mentioned that she and the actor from “Pirates of the Caribbean” pledged not to consume alcohol for three months.

Speaking to People magazine at a curated cocktail event at Mister Paradise in NYC this week, she said, “I’ve been sober for five weeks today.”

“I’ve been doing a pact with my partner [Bloom] and I want to quit,” she joked while mimicking wiping away tears.

When her fellow “American Idol” judge Luke Bryan inquired if she would give in and have a drink, she promptly replied, “No, girl! I can’t cave. I made a promise. Three months,” referring to her pact with Bloom.

The hitmaker, who co-founded a line of non-alcoholic apéritifs last year, commenced her relationship with the actor in January 2016.

They made their red carpet debut in September 2018 and got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019.

In August 2020, the couple announced the birth of their daughter, Daisy Dove.
