Manchester United’s Manager Reflects on 2-1 Defeat to Nottingham Forest
Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has discussed their recent 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
This defeat marks their ninth loss in the current Premier League season.
The match saw Nicolas Dominguez scoring to give Forest the lead in the second half, followed by Marcus Rashford taking advantage of a Matt Turner blunder to equalize at 1-1.
Morgan Gibbs-White secured the win for Forest with a late goal.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Ten Hag commented, “It’s clear the result is very disappointing. We should have invested more in these moments. We created less before half-time. We didn’t do [enough]. The second half was better.”
He added, “We are losing the game by a goal and you saw the fight in the team. We had our chances, the football in the second half was better. They kept believing and going until the end but of course when the result is this, we are disappointed.”
