The arrest of NFL star Chris Olave

Chris Olave, a prominent player for the New Orleans Saints, was detained by law enforcement officials on Monday, October 23.

Reports from TMZ Sport indicated that he was arrested for driving recklessly on a street in Louisiana. The Kenner Police Department revealed that the 23-year-old wide receiver was taken into custody after 9 PM and released at 11:30 PM.

A spokesperson for the Kenner Police Department stated that Olave was charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle for allegedly exceeding the speed limit in a mixed business/residential area where residents had reported speeding issues.

The authorities claimed that Olave was not only driving at a high speed but also making reckless maneuvers between lanes and around other vehicles on the road.

Chris has been the leading receiver for the New Orleans Saints this season, with 39 receptions for 471 yards and a touchdown.
