Seyi Tinubu denies donating 15 million Naira to Mohbad’s son

In a recent Instagram post, Seyi Tinubu, the son of the Nigerian president, stated that he did not contribute 15 million Naira to Mohbad’s child.

After Mohbad’s tragic passing last week, there has been an outpouring of support from celebrities and influencers to ensure his fatherless son, Liam, has a secure future. Many kind-hearted Nigerians have made donations to support the 5-month-old boy.

Contrary to earlier reports claiming that Seyi Tinubu made a 15 million Naira bank transfer to the boy’s account on September 20, 2023, political critic Japheth Omojuwa has refuted these claims.

Omojuwa clarified that Seyi Tinubu expressed concern and pledged to support the child’s education and the wife’s schooling, but he did not make a substantial financial contribution.

Debunking the reported 15 million Naira donation, Omojuwa emphasized that due to his involvement in the matter from the start, he can confirm Seyi Tinubu’s position.*

Omojuwa also stated that it is not his place to disclose the specifics of Seyi Tinubu’s support for the child and wife, leaving it to the recipients to share the information.

Given the circumstances, it is crucial to ensure that all contributions, regardless of their source, are managed responsibly to safeguard Liam’s future.

In response to Omojuwa’s clarification, Seyi Tinubu took to the insta-stories section of his verified Instagram page to refute the claims.
