Tragic Death of Italian Big Brother Star Monica Sirianni
Italia’s Big Brother fans mourn the loss of Monica Sirianni, who tragically passed away after collapsing in a bar during a night out.
According to reports, the 37-year-old fell ill while enjoying a night out with friends in Sauveria Mannelli, a town in Italy’s Catanzaro province on Friday, May 5. She was quickly taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Monica Sirianni gained fame through her appearance on the 12th season of the Italian version of Big Brother, which aired from 2011 to 2012.
She collapsed just days after arriving in Catanzaro, prompting her friends to call for immediate medical assistance. Despite efforts to revive her, she could not be saved, and was declared dead upon reaching the local hospital.
An investigation is currently ongoing to determine the cause of her sudden illness and death. While no official information has been released, authorities have ruled out third-party involvement, and doctors are considering the possibility of a heart attack.
The investigation must be completed before her body can be repatriated to her parents in Sydney, Australia.
During her time in the Big Brother house, Sirianni was a popular contestant despite being evicted after a month. She later transitioned to a career in teaching English, leaving her television days behind.
