Showdown Team Building Enhancement
Dojo Wars Improvements
- The Premium Store undergoes significant changes:
- Each week, the store will now showcase two featured items instead of three.
- The daily items available in the store have been increased to eight from four, with two items exchangeable for Feathers.
- Mounts in the store, along with the Tamer Pass, now feature a preview toggle showcasing their surf version.
- In-game tournaments have been revamped:
- The tournaments will now have 16 participants, with a minimum of 13, unlike the previous requirement of 32 players with a minimum of 25.
- If a tournament lacks players and gets canceled after sign-up, players will still receive the Kudo and associated achievement/trophy, offering a more relaxed experience for lower-ranked players.
- Adjustments have been made to the Nalla quest (Coda: The Jubilee) based on player feedback. The quest no longer mandates successful Koish fishing, instead, any Koish from the Nuru Lodge will suffice to access Tamer’s Paradise.
- A new setting in the Menu enables toggling of idle battle cameras.
- The setting for “Hold to run away” has been enhanced to allow engagement on the first Temtem, not just when the action is performed on the second Temtem’s turn.
- Access to Club Vault items is now restricted to members who have been part of the Club for at least 31 days.
- Gears now have an additional visual indicator showing if they have been used or disabled, aiding in distinguishing different gear functionalities.
- Keep in mind a known issue where deactivated Gears aren’t visibly marked until their activation, especially with a Frightening Tyranak present on the board – we are working on fixing it!
- A new visual marker for overexertion has been included, appearing after the turn ends in battle and in the Battle Log.
- The UI for Temtem Details now displays all TVs in the same color, as opposed to varied colors based on value changes, to avoid confusion, while SVs retain the color-coded system.
- The Breeding UI has been upgraded to offer more comprehensive information, showing both parents’ available fertility and a preview of the offspring’s fertility.
- A new UI feature adds an outline to Tems currently in the battlefield.
- A new sound effect accompanies claiming a Tamer Pass’ Weekly Quest completion.
- After resetting a character on a platform for cross-progressing, the reset character’s name becomes immediately available for reuse on that platform.
Balance
- The TMR soft reset between Seasons has been adjusted from (1000 + TMR) / 2 to (2000 + TMR) / 3
- This change addresses the TMR inflation issue resulting from the new ranked system, preventing a widening gap between Legend players and others each season. The revised reset strategy aims to lower ranks slightly, offering a more balanced experience in subsequent seasons.
PvE
- In PvE battles, defeating K.Rex in the last turn now counts as a win, even if the tower mechanic triggers the ending scene.
- A tie in PvE matches now awards a victory in favor of the player, granting an extra 1 HP to the last Temtem.
Economy
- The cost of teleporting Matter Drones has been reduced from 500 to 250.
- The Tornado item is now accessible as an ETC item.
Temtem
- #006 – Molgu
- Firewall has been added to its move pool.
- Execution has been removed from its move pool.
- #008 – Platox
- Misogi has been removed from its move pool.
- Paralyzing Poison has been removed from its move pool.
- #010 – Swali
- Misogi has been removed from its move pool.
- #012 – Tateru
- STA reduced from 85 to 82.
- ATK reduced from 78 to 75.
- Stone Ball has been removed from its move pool.
- Changes to Tateru were made to address its dominance and counterbalance within the game ecosystem.
- Further updates…
- #025 – Fomu
- Introducing Hyperkinetic Strike to its move pool as an Egg Technique.
- Exclusion of Hurricane from its move pool.
- In response to the necessity of a new Temtem capable of learning Hyperkinetic Strike as an egg move, we carefully selected Wiplump as the ideal candidate. Historically, the speed-scaling issue has plagued this tech, but with the addition of the Plethoric trait, Wiplump now receives a substantial boost without upsetting balance. Considering potential buffs to Hurricane, we decided on Hyperkinetic Strike as it aligns better with our goal of not enhancing the speed of such Temtem.
- #027 – Skail
- Removal of Misogi from its move pool.
- #032 – Houchic
- Omission of Lullaby from its move pool.
- #034 – Nagaise
- Increased DEF from 55 to 58.
- #038 – Capyre
- Elimination of Restore from its move pool.
- #041 – Zenoreth
- Boosted HP from 71 to 73.
- Enhanced ATK from 72 to 83.
- Increased DEF from 87 to 91.
- With a potent move pool on its Physical side, Zenoreth can benefit greatly from Wrecked Farewell. Despite Glass Blade receiving minor buffs, Zenoreth lacked power on turn 0 with this build. By bolstering its Attack stats, we aim for Zenoreth to carve out a unique role in battles distinct from the prevalent build.
The identity of Shaolant had long been unclear, but the upcoming Season’s changes to Stall present an opportunity to establish its value as a support Temtem for carries and a key component in Stall compositions, thanks to its range of utility tools.
- DEF increased from 61 to 64.
- Wastewater no longer part of its move pool.
- Cycrox is commonly part of stall teams, where it performs excellently in a specific role. To enhance player engagement with Cycrox beyond using Wastewater for applying Doom, we’ve broadened its capabilities. These changes aim to make Cycrox more accessible to players in lower ranks.
- Psychosis removed from its move pool.
- Time Split removed from its move pool.
- Pocus was notably strong in version 1.3, especially the combination of Time Split and Hypnosis. To address this, we chose to remove Time Split from Temtem with sleep-control abilities, like Pocus. Additionally, Psychosis has been removed from both Hocus and Pocus to refine their identities further.
Given these changes, a nerf to Rejuvenate is deemed unnecessary, as it could disadvantage Temtem like Myx, which has already faced setbacks.
- Kesa Gatame removed from its move pool.
- Paralyzing Poison no longer part of its move pool.
- Turbo Choreography removed from its move pool.
- Laundry removed from its move pool.
- HP increased from 68 to 75.
- DEF increased from 69 to 74.
- SPDEF increased from 50 to 57.
- Composure added to its move pool.
- Following positive feedback on Saipat buffs, Raignet receives similar treatment. Instead of pushing boundaries, we opted for buffs that enhance its intended role. Testing revealed Raignet’s potential as both support and combatant. These changes aim to solidify Raignet’s position as a support and durable bruiser in gameplay.
- Misogi removed from its move pool.
- Matter Teleport now an Egg Technique.
- Hypnosis no longer learned by level, now an Egg Technique.
- Paralyzing Poison removed from its move pool.
- Bamboozle removed from its move pool.
- Time Split removed from its move pool.
- Matter Teleport now an Egg Technique.
- Regarding Sanbi, following concerns about sleep control and Time Split from the previous season, we removed Time Split from its move pool. To differentiate it from Valiar, we also removed Bamboozle. This change aims to emphasize Valiar’s support role and keep Sanbi focused on offense.
- Sanative Rain removed from its move pool.
- Zen Meditation removed from its move pool.
- Restore removed from its move pool.
- Block removed from its move pool.
- Restore added to its move pool.
- Petal Dagger added to its move pool.
- Sanative Rain removed from its move pool.

- Toxic Slime removed from its move pool.
- Venom Spread added to its move pool.

#110 – Volarend
- ATK increased from 51 to 56.
- Wind Burst added to its move pool.
#111 – Grumvel
- Toughen removed from its move pool.
#112 – Grumper
- Dust Vortex added to its move pool.
- Tesla Prison added to its move pool.
- Restore removed from its move pool.
- Grumper is an example of the support Temtem envisioned for Stall compositions. Buffs allies with Stone Wall and Sparks, with Dust Vortex serving defensively against threats. Tesla Prison adds stamina-efficient support, enhancing Grumper’s role in Stall teams.

- Speed has seen a boost from 67 to 75.
- DEF has been upped from 43 to 49.
- Restore has been newly included in its move pool.
- Hurricane has been introduced as a move option while Laundry has been removed.
- Gazuma’s base stats have been adjusted for improved performance, focusing on its bulk and speed. This ensures Gazuma can serve better as a support Temtem without the necessity for maximum speed investment to avoid outspeeding by Digital counterparts. Additionally, introducing Hurricane to its move pool bolsters its offensive coverage, providing Gazuma with a powerful tool to enhance its combat capabilities.
#115 – Oceara
- Laundry has been removed from Oceara’s move pool.
#116 – Yowlar

This change provides more clarity for new users and boosts Broccolem’s effectiveness in battles.
#122 – Shuine
- HP now stands at 47, up from 43.
- DEF has been increased from 49 to 52.
- Crystal Deluge is a new addition to Shuine’s move pool, while Sacrifice and Relax have been removed. These alterations seek to avoid redundant effects in Shuine’s moves, emphasizing its versatility and proactive nature for buffing allies and controlling opponents.
#124 – Valiar
- Nightmare Feed and Composure have been added to Valiar’s move pool, while Intimidation and Blackhole have been removed. These changes enhance Valiar’s support capabilities and offer distinct roles compared to other Temtem.

This adjustment aims to restore Humiliating Slap’s prominence and offer players more strategic team composition options.
On Burn:
We have fine-tuned techniques that inflict the Burn status condition to balance its utility without making it a central strategy.
