He highlighted the tendency to envy the successful and avoid those who are financially struggling. He emphasized that people only seem to love you if you are wealthy, thriving, or no longer alive.
Alex concluded his message by describing the world we live in as fascinating.
“We cry for the dead, yet keep malice with the living. We envy the successful and avoid the broke (poor) ones. People only love you if you are rich, doing well, or dead. What an interesting life we live.”
