Xavi dismisses reports of Fati potentially joining Real Madrid

Xavi Hernández, the Barcelona manager, has categorically denied rumors suggesting that Ansu Fati might transfer to Real Madrid.

Fati has had limited playing time under Xavi since recovering from multiple injuries last summer.

When questioned about these rumors on Friday, Xavi responded to journalists, saying, “Is that a joke or something?

“I was very clear about Ansu last week. He is currently and will continue to be a crucial asset for the club. I couldn’t be more explicit.

“I don’t understand the ongoing debate surrounding him. He is a Barça player and we rely on him. He is in good form, and we are pleased with his performances. Hopefully, we can put an end to this discussion because it’s nonsensical.”
